Link Africa (Pty) Ltd has a vacancy for a Solutions Architect within the Gauteng region.
Purpose of Job
- The Solution Architect is responsible for the development of the technology solutions and mapping the business requirements to technical requirements to ensure they are in line with the enterprise architectural plan.
- The Solution Architect supports the successful achievement of Link Africa’s sales targets by analysing the sales/Client’s technical needs and proving solutions to prospective or existing Customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design customer centric solutions according to the strategic roadmap of the LA-VNO, based on what capabilities/functionalities are in place currently, and on what must be developed to reach the future state.
- Define and communicate high level business architecture requirements to inform business use cases.
- Translate the business architecture into “fit for purpose” business models (capabilities).
- Ensure that the business requirements are reflected in the design and that the appropriate business and technical services are reflected in the overall architecture.
- Work with specialists and other role players in multiple areas to formulate an integrated solution to customer requirements on a case by case basis.
- Provide people, process and technology recommendations across all solution initiatives, based upon current and future offerings and the business’ strategic direction.
- Develop and communicate new solutions to the LA Sales Team and LA Clients.
- Work with business partners (Project Managers, Planning and Operations) during execution of solution.
- Develop, test and implement technology solutions and report on delivery commitments to ensure solutions are implemented as expected and to agreed timeframes.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements/Competencies:
